Positive Classroom Discipline Plan

To keep our class peacefully growing together we need to follow our school
rules. Each child will start the day with a green card and as needed cards
may be changed. We will discuss the classroom rules and use a problem solving
approach when dealing with each conflict together.

Classroom Rules:
1. Listen to and follow directions.
2. Take turns to speak.
3. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
4. Work quietly at your seat.

If a student chooses to break a rule:
1st time: Verbal warning, discussion of the problem.
2nd time: Verbal warning.
3rd time: note typed on grade book and a reflection form to be completed and sent home to be signed by a parent.
Severe disruption and parent is contacted.

Disruptions that continue: Sent to administration for disciplinary action.

Students who behave well will be positively are rewarded with:
Positive notes or phone calls
Free time to complete AR
Special privileges and classroom job duties
Tangible incentives- stickers, prizes, or treats

Working together we will have a wonderful year.
